Questions

Ceiling, wall or stand?

Use the ceiling mount on wood ceiling joists, for bags up to 250 lb. Use the wall mount on wood studs or a filled masonry wall, for bags up to 500 lb. If you can drill into neither, a stand holds the bag on its own legs.

What comes with the ceiling mount?

Two 2.5 in x 3/8 in lag bolts with washers for wood joists, and two adjustable rubber stoppers that keep the bag from sliding along the beam. Its twin bearings let the bag swivel without twisting the chain or straps.

How is the wall mount installed?

Its mounting holes are 16 in apart, for standard wall studs. It goes on wood studs or a filled masonry wall and holds bags up to 500 lb when installed properly. The frame is 18 in wide and 16 in tall, with a 38 in arm.

What are the sand bags for?

Weight on a bag stand or frame, for stability. They ship filled at 55 lb, ready to use. The D-ring version has a hook to clip onto stands, frames and equipment.

How strong is the nylon strap?

It is rated for heavy bags up to 500 lb, with reinforced stitching at the stress points.
